Atlante
In Greek mythology Atlante (Atlas) is one of the Titans who took part in the Cronos revoltagainst the gods of Olympus. As punishment, Zeus forced him to take the entire heavensupon his shoulders. The fi gure of the giant who holds up the earth appeared on a collectionof geographical maps in the 16th century and cartographers soon used this name forgeography books. Since then, the name Atlante has become a symbol of knowledge anduniversality.The simple and geometrical Atlante system combines modern functional requirements inthe work place with internationally appealing design.
Atlante is a modular system with a load-bearing panelledstructure and a marked capacity to provide multipleworkstation tables of large dimensions. If required, theload-bearing panels can be used with upper-screens inmethacrylate. Linking bridging units H. 105 cm can beadded to the longitudinal workstations, which can hostcoloured and open modular storage units or ones equippedwith methacrylate sliding doors.
Workstations can be equipped with a fl ip-top that ensureseasy access to the electrical and IT system.These fl ip-tops comprise an elegant box in anodizedaluminium incorporated in the top. They are equipped witha dual-opening fl ap. Customers can choose to positionthem on the desktop or on extensions.
Atlante is also available in a version with an undercounterstructural beam that provides two functions: it supportslarge bridging elements and acts as a practical cable tidy.These illustrations show an integrated arrangement with acentral span, on which modular storage units are positioned.Side desks are joined to this with beams to create anarrangement with a complete electrifi ed system.
Modular desktops can be equipped with cabling accessfl aps along the entire length with the same wood fi nish asthe desktop. The front or side screens H.120 cm can befi tted with accessories. In fact, they are equipped with analuminium profi le to which shelves or wall storage unitscan be fastened, providing a practical fi ling system fordocuments used daily.
For linear modular workstations, instead of side panels that can be equipped with accessories, it is possible to userecessed support panels to make full use of the desktop. In this case, the front screens are fastened to the desktop andare available with a wood fi nish, in methacrylate or upholstered in original coloured fabrics.
With its versatility, Atlante provides combined arrangementswith screens, H.120 cm, which can be fi tted with accessoriesand integrated with desks with structural beams. Symmetricalworkstations are available with a central element thatcomprises either vertical panels that can be equipped withshelves and wall units or bridging elements with large spansthat guarantee more surfaces, even at different heights.
The range of fi nishes includes Dark Oak, Light Oak, White andGrey melamine with ribbed effect, as well as methacrylates andpolychrome fabrics. This combination of different colours andmaterials enables customization of the work environment asrequired. For executive versions, which include meeting tables,Atlante provides simple minimalist solutions, which are alsofunctional and elegant, with the addition of optional accessoriessuch as lights fastened to the desktop and top access.
